Shipping a Puppy -- Is it safe?

Back to FAQ

Shipping a puppy by itself to a new location is as simple as it is for people to fly.  The airlines have a vast experience with shipping puppies and it's in their best interest for them to provide the best of care. Puppy food is taped on the crate and  frozen (so it will gradually thaw out) water is in a dish for the puppy.  Shedded paper is placed in the bottom of the crate.  The pup will arrive the same day it is sent. The average flight is approximately 4 to 6 hours. I always ask about any delays or layovers and know the exact times and departures of the flights. I keep in contact with the airline and will keep you notified if any problems arise.
